About the CSIN-NS project


The realization of the project: Croatian Natural Sciences Information Network has started early in the year 1995. The Project involves 27 libraries in the field of natural sciences at the moment.

The aim of the Project is to improve the input in the databases (books, periodicals, theses, bibliographies and other library collections), build union online catalogues in the field of Natural Sciences and make the databases searchable through the network (Web and other network services).

Further, the goals of the Project are: to provide and implement reliable integrated online library system, provide the users with necessary online databases, education of the librarians and users for the network resources using, etc.
